Directions for use
- Dosage: Dissolve 1 std. measuring spoon (37.5 g) of Lytafit ® powder in 1 litre of warm water.
- Feeding recommendation: 1st day: 3 to 4 doses of 2 to 3 litres each throughout the day with Lytafit® (solution in water) or: Morning and evening doses of milk or MAT and up to 3 additional doses of 2 - 3 litres of Lytafit® (solution in water) in between. 2nd day and further: Morning and evening: milk or MAT. In addition, up to 3 times 2 litres of Lytafit® (solution in water) in between. Return to milk drinker/MAT: "Half milk" is given for 1 day (mixture of 1 part milk or replacer and 1 part Lytafit® solution).
- Total duration of feeding : As a complete feed: one to max. three days. In combination with milk or exchanger: until the faecal condition is normal again, but for a maximum of 7 days.
- Dosage: Dissolve 1 std. measuring spoon (37.5 g) of Lytafit® powder in 1 litre of warm milk/MAT.
- Feeding recommendation: In the morning, at noon in the evening: Soak 2 litres of milk or MAT with the addition of 2 measuring spoons of Lytafit® powder. Caution: Water must be available for free intake at all times for 24 hours and must also be drunk voluntarily.
- Total duration of feeding: The direct-in-milk method "ORL" produces a complete and highly energising drink. This drink is fed until the faeces are back to normal. Fluid supplementation in the event of particular stress after transport, when changing stables or drinking troughs: On the 1st day: 3 to 4 drinking troughs throughout the day with Lytafit® only (solution in water, 2 to 3 litres each). 2nd day and further: milk or replacer.
- Stabilisation of the water and electrolyte balance if there is a risk of, during or after digestive disorders (diarrhoea) or as a fluid supplement if the mother sow lacks milk: 1 level measuring spoon (37.5 g) per litre of lukewarm water. Prepare fresh several times a day and feed from a shallow trough as required.
- Note: If pathogenic E. coli bacteria are involved in gastrointestinal problems, effective oral antibiotics must also be administered.

- Buffering capacity: min. 66 mmol/L ready-to-feed portion (calculated according to the SID method). Easily available carbohydrates (glucose).
