DIAFINE® safety pen needles 31G x 5 mm for painless and safe insulin injections. High quality, easy to use.

How to use

Follow the steps below for correct and safe use of DIAFINE Safety PEN needles:

Open the packaging:

• Remove the protective cap from the needle packaging with a twisting motion.

Attaching the needle:

• Screw the safety PEN needle onto the insulin pen until it is securely in place.

Removing the outer protective cap:

• Carefully pull the outer protective cap upwards to expose the needle.
• The colour indicator signals the activation of the safety mechanism.

Preparing the injection:

• Remove the inner protective cap from the needle.
• If necessary, carry out a safety test with a small dose to check the insulin flow.

Perform the injection:

• Place the needle on the skin at a 90-degree angle (a 45-degree angle may be recommended for thin skin).
• Actuate the insulin pen according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Dispose of the needle:

• After injection, activate the safety mechanism by replacing the outer protective cap.
• Carefully twist the needle off the insulin pen and dispose of it in a suitable container for medical waste

Warnings:

• Sterile, non-pyrogenic
• Do not use if packaging is damaged or opened.
• For single use only.
• Reuse of individual safety needles poses a potential risk to the patient or user.
• Contamination and/or reduced functionality of the product can lead to injury, illness or death of the patient.

Store the safety needles under normal conditions in a well-ventilated place and avoid direct sunlight, moisture and corrosive environments.
