Corimia® film-coated tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product with the active ingredient heartwort, for the relief of symptoms of nervous tension and nervous heart complaints such as palpitations (palpitations), after serious illnesses have been ruled out by a doctor.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal speciality which is registered exclusively on the basis of many years of use for the above-mentioned indications. This medicinal product is used in adults aged 18 years and over. If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 weeks, consult your doctor.

Indications

• Nervous tension: Nervous tension is a feeling of stress or tension caused by worry, anxiety or restlessness. They can manifest themselves in various ways. Physical: You often feel tense, e.g. in the neck or shoulders. Your heart may also beat faster or your breathing may become more rapid. Mental: You have a lot of thoughts or worries, find it difficult to calm down and find it hard to concentrate. Emotional: Nervous tension can also cause you to become irritable or restless more quickly.
• Nervous heart symptoms: Nervous heart symptoms, often in the form of palpitations or an uncomfortable awareness of the heartbeat, are a common symptom that many people experience. These symptoms are also known as palpitations. Palpitations are the feeling that the heart is beating faster, irregularly or particularly hard. You can feel the heartbeat, often as a "throbbing" in the chest, throat or sometimes also in the abdominal area. If heart complaints are persistent and come to the fore, it is always advisable to consult a doctor.

What is Corimia®?

Corimia® is a traditional herbal medicinal product whose active ingredient contains the aerial parts of the medicinal plant heartwort. The decision to use motherwort in Corimia® is based on extensive studies and the traditional use of this plant. The EMA (European Medicines Agency) has classified motherwort as effective and safe for use in nervous tension and nervous heart complaints (palpitations). Based on centuries-old knowledge of motherwort, Corimia® offers an innovative alternative treatment for these complaints.

To date, the traditional use of heartwort has shown no side effects or interactions with other ^medicines1. It is therefore considered safe to take, even in combination with other medicines.¹ EMA/HMPC/127430/2010

How does Corimia® work?

Heart horsetail has already been investigated in many studies. These studies have shown that motherwort acts directly on the heart, producing a general calming effect and relieving the heart. Due to this specific effect, effective relief of symptoms occurs quickly.

Directions for use

• The recommended dose is: Adults: 1 film-coated tablet 1-3 times a day.
• Use in children and adolescents: Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.
• Route of administration: Oral use Take the film-coated tablet at mealtimes with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water). Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Corimia is too strong or too weak.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 weeks, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• What Corimia contains: 1 film-coated tablet contains: The active substance is: Leonuri cardiaceae herba 150 mg.
• The other ingredients are: Highly dispersed silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, stearic acid, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, indigotine varnish (E132), brilliant blue FCF (E133), carmine (E120).
