Contragel® green is a gel for use with diaphragm contraceptives. The safety of these contraceptive methods is increased by the use of Contragel® green.

Contragel® green forms a mechanical barrier in front of the cervix by means of cellulose (gelling agent).

How to use

Before inserting the diaphragm, put approx. one teaspoon (approx. 4ml) of Contragel®green into the diaphragm. Please also follow the instructions for use for your diaphragm.
Note: Contragel® green does not offer any protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Contragel® green used without a diaphragm does not offer any contraceptive protection. Contragel® green is water-soluble and compatible with condoms made of natural rubber or polyurethane.
