Contam® Extra Vaginal Tampon – a treatment option for stress incontinence (involuntary urine leakage when laughing, coughing, sneezing, etc.) and for strengthening and activating the pelvic floor muscles. Effective treatment with Contam may make a planned hysterectomy with plastic reconstruction unnecessary.
Indications
- Female stress incontinence
- Proptosis
- Mixed incontinence with urgency symptoms
- Recurrent incontinence following a previous operation
- Prevention during sporting activities (workouts)

The length and diameter specifications are approximate values when in use (moist). The raw material (polyvinyl alcohol foam) is an elastic material, and slight variations may occur.

Directions for use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
- Remove the film from the product and unwind the removal string.
- Soak Contam in warm water for approx. 1 min.
- Squeeze out any remaining liquid. Contam becomes soft and elastic and is ready for use.
- Use for urinary incontinence: Insert Contam deep into the vagina using your fingertips, then pull the tampon back slightly so that you can feel it again with your fingertips.
- Change the tampon after 12 hours for hygiene reasons.
- Dispose of in household waste.
