CoCurmin® Tenera capsules, 60 ST

CoCurmin® Tenera capsules are a food supplement with Bifidobacterium infantis, turmeric, black pepper and peppermint extract. The triple combination of curcumin, bifidobacteria and peppermint.

CoCurmin® Tenera contains the natural intestinal bacterium Bifidobacterium infantis in a concentration of 100 billion live bacteria per gram. The bacteria reach the intestine in a viable form thanks to the coating of gastric juice-resistant capsules.

• CoCurmin® Tenera contains curcumin from an extract of turmeric, the concentrated active ingredient from turmeric (Curcuma longa), which has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine. Curcumin supports the natural function of the immune system and the normal nervous system. Curcumin contributes to the protection of cells from antioxidant stress.
• CoCurmin® Tenera contains a dry extract of peppermint. Peppermint supports natural intestinal function and a healthy digestive system. The peppermint extract is only released in the small intestine thanks to the coating of gastric juice-resistant capsules; the typical peppermint flavour is eliminated and tolerability is significantly improved.

Active ingredients

• Curcumin: Curcumin, obtained from turmeric (Curcuma longa), has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years.
• Bifidobacterium infantis: Bifidobacterium infantis is a natural inhabitant of the large intestine and is one of the first and most common representatives of the intestinal flora in newborns. It supports healthy intestinal flora.
• Peppermint extract: Peppermint (Mentha piperita) and the essential oil obtained from it have long been recognised for their properties in traditional medicine.
• Bioperine: Bioperine is piperine, a secondary plant substance from black pepper (Piper nigrum). In small quantities, black pepper supports the function of the other plants in products with several herbal ingredients.

Directions

• Take one capsule twice a day unchewed with plenty of liquid, preferably one capsule before breakfast and then again one capsule before dinner.
• CoCurmin® Tenera capsules should be taken without interruption over a period of at least four weeks.
• Notes: Curcumin preparations promote the flow of bile and should therefore not be taken in the case of acute inflammation of the liver or gall bladder or proven gallstones. In combination with anticoagulants, curcumin can increase the risk of bleeding and should therefore only be taken after consulting a doctor. Small children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers should not take curcumin preparations, as there are insufficient studies on these groups of people.
