The Clungene® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test is a reliable self-test (anterior nasal) for the rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2. Easy to carry out, suitable even for those without medical training. Get your test result in just a few minutes.

The COVID-19 Antigen Assay (colloidal gold) is a qualitative immunoassay-based test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigens in swab samples. During this test, the sample reacts with an anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody conjugate on the pad, which is coated with particles; the mixture then migrates upwards via capillary action onto the membrane chromatogram and reacts with a SARS-CoV-2 antibody in the test line zone. If the sample contains SARS-CoV-2, a coloured line appears in the test line zone, indicating a positive result. If the sample does not contain SARS-CoV-2, no coloured line appears in this zone, indicating a negative result. As a process control, a coloured line always appears in the control line region, indicating that an appropriate sample volume has been added and that the membrane has been drawn through.
