Cetirizine 10 mg film-coated tablets from Sandoz are an anti-allergic medicine containing the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride. For the relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the relief of chronic hives.

Cetirizine Sandoz is indicated in adults and children from the age of 6 years for:

Relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis
Relief of chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria)

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Dosage form

Film-coated tablets

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily as 1 tablet. Other pharmaceutical forms of this medicine may be more suitable for your child; please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is 5 mg twice a day as half a tablet twice a day. Other pharmaceutical forms of this medicine may be more suitable for your child; please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients

The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride.
Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, anhydrous Tablet coating: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E 171) and macrogol 4000
