Cetirizine ratiopharm 10 mg film-coated tablets is an anti-allergic medicine containing the active substance: cetirizine dihydrochloride for the relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and allergic rhinitis. To relieve the symptoms of chronic hives.

In adults and children aged 6 years and over, Cetirizine-ratiopharm is indicated for:

Relief of nasal and eye symptoms in seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal mucosa).
Relief of chronic hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria).

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Dosage form

Film-coated tablets

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily as 1 tablet.
Children between 6 and 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 5 mg twice daily as half a tablet twice daily.
Method of administration: The tablets should be taken unchewed with a glass of liquid. The tablet can be divided into equal doses.
Duration of use: The duration of use depends on the type, duration and course of your symptoms and will be determined by your doctor.

Ingredients

The active substance is cetirizine dihydrochloride. 1 film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine dihydrochloride.
The other ingredients are Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, highly dispersed anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide (E 171), hypromellose 5cP (E 464), macrogol 400.
