The cerascreen food reaction test is a diagnostic self-test for taking samples and then sending them to our specialised diagnostic laboratory free of charge. Customers receive a detailed results report with recommendations for action and health tips.
The test can be used to find out whether there is an intolerance or allergy to a total of57 foods and food groups. The test therefore covers 95% of the most common causes of food intolerances and allergies in Europe.
Thanks to the latest laboratory analysis methods, we only need very little blood from the finger for the analysis. Using the blood collection kit included in the test kit, a small blood sample is taken from the finger and sent to our specialised diagnostic laboratory free of charge in the enclosed return envelope.
There, the blood is tested for the presence of IgE and IgG4 antibodies to the allergens. The personalised results report can be viewed a few working days later in your online customer area. In addition to a detailed evaluation of the test result, an individual recommendation is given for any necessary measures and dietary changes.
NEW: The test uses the modern dry blood method - only five drops of blood need to be applied to a dry blood card.
The following food allergens are tested for:
IgE test: chicken, egg white, beef, pork, lamb, salmon, cod, shrimp, crab, cow's milk, wheat, rice, potato, carrot, celery, tomato, mustard, soya, peanut, hazelnut, almond, peach, kiwi, strawberry, orange and apple.
IgG4 test:
