Cellona® synthetic wadding has a wide range of applications. In addition to its protective function under plaster and cast support bandages, it is also used to pad splint and compression bandages. In wound treatment combined with textile wound dressings or ointment tulle, the cotton wool acts as padding.

Soft cotton wool for wrinkle-free

The fine fibre pile is sufficiently dense for circular application, but can be separated as required with a slight pull and prevents the formation of bulges for comfortable wearing. The material is also suitable for tight areas of the body such as the thumb area, as it can be tapered lengthways with a slight pull. The padding is easier to put on thanks to the material's adhesive effect, making it easy to smooth out.

Good padding for comfortable wearing

The synthetic wadding impresses with its air permeability and temperature equalisation. The fibres do not absorb moisture and therefore allow the rigid bandage to harden more quickly. Synthetic wadding is available in normal and sterile versions.
