Properties and effectiveness
Vitamin C has a general activating effect on metabolic processes in the body. Ascorbic acid is essential for the formation of cartilage, bones and teeth, it supports the body's defence against infection and wound healing and promotes blood formation. A drop in vitamin C levels is the cause of many pathological conditions. There is a very wide range from the first signs of illness to the acute onset of nutritional damage (e.g. scurvy). The cause of low vitamin C levels can be insufficient supply in the diet, especially after fruit and vegetables have been stored for too long and improperly or due to vitamin-destroying food preparation or diets. In old age there is often a poor intake. Vitamin C intake is particularly important in spring, when the body's vitamin C content is at a seasonal low. Vitamin C is increasingly consumed during serious illnesses. Ce-Limo effervescent tablets replenish vitamin C stores. Of all the vitamins, vitamin C undoubtedly plays the greatest role in improving performance. This is proven not only by the frequently observed increased need for vitamin C during major sporting endeavours, but also indirectly by the decrease in performance when vitamin C is deficient.
Indications
Ce-Limo is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency. During increased physical and mental exertion, as well as during convalescence and spring fatigue. To increase the body's natural defences in infectious diseases; to promote the healing of wounds and fractures; in bleeding conditions, such as those occurring with gum wounds and inflammation of the oral mucosa.
