Product information "Canikur® chewable tablet for dogs 3 x 4 pieces"
Canikur® chewable tablets for dogs are a dietary supplement for dogs to alleviate acute intestinal absorption disorders during and after acute diarrhoea.
Canikur® chewable tablets are a dietary supplement specially developed for dogs for use during and after acute diarrhoea. Canikur® can be used alone or in combination with additional medication prescribed by your vet for all acute diarrhoea.
Can Canikur® be given in the event of anticipated digestive disorders (stress diarrhoea)?
It is known that stress impairs the function of the gastrointestinal tract and this often leads to digestive disorders (stress diarrhoea). Canikur® can be given to all dogs that are likely to be exposed to increased stress, such as travelling, shows and races. As a preventative treatment, your dog should be given one Canikur® tablet per 10kg of body weight in the morning before the stressful event (travelling, showing etc.) This dosage should be repeated every morning for as long as the stressful situation persists. During this period, your dog can be fed normally. It is important that your dog has fresh water available at all times.
How does Canikur® taste to the dog?
Canikur® is normally very well absorbed by dogs, but for smaller dogs it may be necessary to break the tablet into smaller pieces.
Does Canikur® contain antibiotics?
No, Canikur® is antibiotic-free. It contains purely vegetable fibres, glucose and minerals, and any pathogens are bound in the intestine and then excreted in the faeces. However, Canikur® can be combined with antibiotics or antispasmodic medication in the case of complicated illnesses.
