Just like us humans, our dogs and cats must also expect to experience typical signs of ageing and illnesses as they grow older. Age-related degenerative processes, as well as natural wear and tear and past injuries, can lead to problems in old age. Caniviton® Forte Plus is the ideal dietary supplement for animals with allergies, designed to support natural joint function. These tasty chewable tablets not only support cartilage regeneration but are also grain-free, free from animal proteins and therefore easily digestible.

With glucosamine & chondroitin sulphate

Caniviton® Forte Plus contains chondroitin sulphate, an important natural component of cartilage, which, thanks to its ability to bind large amounts of water, is responsible for the elasticity of the cartilage and thus keeps the joints flexible. It also contains glucosamine, a building block that provides the glycosaminoglycans essential for the formation of cartilage, tendons and ligaments.

Devil’s claw, which is also included, is said to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects, whilst manganese supports the growth of bone, cartilage and connective tissue. Due to its composition and the characteristics of its individual ingredients, Caniviton® Forte Plus is also a good complement to conventional osteoarthritis treatment.

Directions for use

Caniviton Forte Plus supports natural joint function. Administer once daily, either on its own or mixed with food, in accordance with the following feeding guidelines. Water should always be available. Due to the legally stipulated maximum levels of trace elements in animal feed, this supplementary feed may only be administered up to a maximum of 5 tablets per dog (30 kg body weight) per day or 1 tablet per cat (4 kg body weight) per day.

Feeding recommendation:

Once a day, either on its own or mixed with food.
Dogs < 30 kg: 1 tablet per day
Dogs 30–60 kg: 1½ tablets per day
Dogs > 60 kg: 2 tablets per day
Cats: ¼ tablet per day
During the first 4–6 weeks, the above dosage may be doubled for dogs.
Water should always be available. Due to the legally stipulated maximum levels of trace elements, this supplementary feed must not be administered in quantities exceeding 5 tablets per dog (30 kg body weight) per day or 1 tablet per cat (4 kg body weight) per day.

Ingredients

Composition: Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, polyethylene glycol, magnesium salts, organic acids C 16–18.
Composition per 1 tablet (2.2 g): glucosamine 500 mg, chondroitin sulphate 400 mg, Harpagophytum procumbens 150 mg.
Analytical constituents: Crude fibre 25.2%, crude protein 15.0%, crude ash 4.0%, moisture 4.6%, crude fat 0.82%.
Additives per kg: Trace elements: Manganese (manganese(II) sulphate, monohydrate) (3b503) 4522 mg; binding agents, anti-caking agents and coagulants: Colloidal silicon dioxide (E 551b) 4,500 mg; emulsifiers, stabilisers, thickeners and gelling agents: microcrystalline cellulose (E 460) 338,000 mg, Flavourings: devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) 68,200 mg and a mixture of flavourings.
