- Meibomian gland dysfunction (blepharitis)
- Dry eyes (keratoconjunctivitis sicca)
- Chalazion (eyelid cysts) and the associated symptoms of itchy, irritated and reddened eyes
To achieve optimum results, we recommend heating the BlephaCura® The Eye Doctor® eye warming mask in the microwave. To ensure that the heat is distributed effectively and there are no hot spots, shake the eye warming mask immediately after heating and before use to ensure that the filling material is evenly distributed in the mask.
The BlephaCura® The Eye Doctor® Eye Warming Mask is filled with BodyBeads®, a silicone filling material that can be heated in the microwave or oven. BodyBeads® are more resistant to overheating than natural filling materials. Tested by Intertek 2014.

How to use
- Instructions for heating in the microwave: Remove the cover and place the inner bag flat in a clean, microwave-safe container. The eye warming mask can also be heated with the cover. Power: 700 to 850 watts, max. heating time: 30 seconds Power: 851 to 1000 watts, max. heating time: 15 seconds
- Instructions for heating in the oven: Remove the cover and place the inner bag flat in a clean container suitable for the oven. Heat the inner bag in a preheated oven at 150 °C (top and bottom heat) or 140 °C (convection heat) for 7-10 minutes or in a gas oven at level 2 for 7-10 minutes. (Adjust the heating time according to the power of your oven).
- The following applies to both types of heating: Always check the temperature of the Blepha Cura® The Eye Doctor® eye warming mask before placing it on your eyes. To do this, hold the heated eye warming mask against the inside of your wrist. If the eye warming mask is too hot, allow it to cool for 1 to 2 minutes. Then hold the eye warming mask against the inside of your wrist again to check the temperature before putting on the eye warming mask. Sit down, place the band around your head so that it is comfortable for you, lean back and relax for 7-10 minutes.
