Bios 5-HTP 50 mg capsules are a food supplement containing Griffonia seeds. Griffonia simplicifolia is the scientific name for the African black bean.

Griffonia has a long tradition as a herbal preparation in African culture. The seeds of this plant increase concentration, promote mental resilience and brighten the mood. This is due to the naturally high content of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) in the seeds of this African plant. 5-HTP plays a key role in the production of the "happiness hormone" serotonin. The sleep hormone melatonin is in turn produced from serotonin. This explains the sleep-promoting and calming properties of this special bean. 5-HTP 100 mg Bios capsules also contain magnesium, which contributes to normal mental function, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal energy metabolism, reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal protein synthesis. The 5-HTP it contains is Peak X free and meets the highest quality requirements.
