Bioflair® capsules are used to treat diarrhoea and to restore the gut flora (e.g. following a course of antibiotics).

Numerous species of bacteria are present in a healthy human gut. They form the biological community known as the gut flora and contribute to the digestion of food and the production of vitamins.

BIOFLAIR introduces a natural inhabitant of the human gut, characterised by its rapid reproduction, vitality and resistance to antibiotics and other influences.

BIOFLAIR supports the natural colonisation of the gut in cases of non-specific diarrhoea. Pathogenic bacteria are inhibited in their growth and rapidly displaced from the gut.

Indications

For symptomatic and supportive treatment of acute, uncomplicated diarrhoea in adults and children over 12 years of age; in children aged 2–12 years, only on the advice of a doctor.
For disturbances of the gut flora, to support the restoration of the natural balance of a disturbed gut flora, e.g. following antibacterial therapy (antibiotics or other treatments).

If you do not feel better or actually feel worse after 48 hours, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

The recommended dose is:

Adults: 1 capsule 3 times a day;
Children aged 2–12 years: 1 capsule twice daily.

Method of administration:

Take with a little liquid (water, milk, fruit juice, NO hot drinks).
If you have difficulty swallowing, the capsules may also be opened and the contents mixed with milk, fruit juice or similar; please ensure that the liquid is not reheated after mixing.

Duration of treatment:

Generally, a course of 7 days is recommended. In individual cases, a longer course of treatment may be appropriate following consultation with a doctor.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is: 1 capsule contains at least 75 million live Enterococcus faecium SF68® bacteria in dried form.

The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide. Capsule shell: gelatine.
