Why Ferro-Fatigue REDUX
Iron is a vital element for our bodies. It plays a role in oxygen transport within our bodies, in the formation of enzymes and in the immune response of cells.
- If you suffer from iron deficiency, you may feel tired, experience reduced physical performance and find your daily productivity affected.
- Our bodies do not produce iron; we must obtain it from our diet, but only 10 per cent of it is actually absorbed.
- Not all iron is the same: most dietary supplements use standard forms of iron that are not easily absorbed. This can lead to an imbalance in the microbiome, which in turn can cause gastrointestinal cramps and constipation. The iron remains unabsorbed and causes further disruption to the microbiome. This is unfortunate, as the bacteria in our gut play a major role in iron absorption.

How it works
You do not need to take a high dose of iron every day, as your body cannot absorb it.
Ferro-Fatigue REDUX has been specially developed to alternate the iron and probiotic doses every other day, in order to achieve the most efficient absorption whilst being gentle on the gut. By giving our body a 24-hour break from iron intake, we not only minimise the gastrointestinal problems associated with iron intake, but also maximise the actual amount of iron absorbed.
Ferro-Fatigue REDUX mechanism of action:
- Vitamin C and iron bisglycinate protect the stomach from iron oxidation and prevent cramps.
- Lactobacilli and vitamin C promote the reduction of iron to ferrous iron (Fe²⁺).
- Only the ferrous form of iron (Fe²⁺) is absorbed via the DMT transporter.
- Folic acid further supports blood formation.
- Alternating doses of probiotics and iron prevent hepcidin from inhibiting iron absorption.
- Lactobacillus probiotics prevent the overgrowth of pathogens caused by oxidative stress and iron overload, and maintain the microbial balance.

Alternating dosage
Dark capsule 1:
- High-dose iron (Ferrochel®: ferrous bisglycinate chelate): the most bioavailable form of iron. Patented. Remains intact in the gastrointestinal tract, so as not to disrupt it. It enables our body to transport oxygen more effectively and thus supports the synthesis of red blood cells, which carry oxygen so that our cells can produce the energy they need, leaving us with more energy and feeling less tired.
- Vitamin C: L-ascorbic acid is an essential vitamin that helps to increase iron stores in the body. It contributes to iron absorption by helping to convert non-absorbable iron (Fe³⁺) into its absorbable form, Fe²⁺. Vitamin C also supports our body when we feel tired by reducing feelings of fatigue, contributes to our daily energy levels and helps protect cells from oxidative damage
- Folic acid: supports normal blood formation.
Light-coloured capsule 2:
- Probiotic strains: Lactobacillus fermentum IQB2411 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus IQB 2911. It has been scientifically proven that they produce a specific molecule which increases iron absorption in the intestinal cells whilst balancing the gut microbiome.
- Calcium: an important mineral in the body that supports the normal function of digestive enzymes.

Take alternately: take the light-coloured capsule one day, the dark-coloured capsule the next, and so on.

- Composition – Dark capsule: Vitamin C 373 mg 466.3 per cent, iron bisglycinate 45 mg 321 per cent, folic acid 400 µg 200 per cent.
