What is BiOMii DF Restore®?

• BiOMii DF Restore® is a food supplement with the highly effective yeast strain Saccharomyces Boulardii. This special yeast strain colonises the intestinal microbiome within a few hours and inhibits or displaces other harmful pathogens, restoring or maintaining the natural intestinal flora.
• BiOMii DF Restore® is highly dosed and contains 250 mg dry yeast with a very high number of colony-forming units per powder stick. The inulin it contains serves as food for the beneficial microbiota and supports their multiplication and colonisation in the intestine.
• BiOMii DF Restore® is based on a scientifically sound formulation that not only protects the sensitive yeast strain, but also ensures that it arrives in high numbers exactly where it is needed, in the intestinal microbiome.

Why BiOMii DF Restore®?

Not all bacteria are welcome in the gut. When travelling, especially to faraway countries, the intestinal microbiome can be confronted with harmful pathogens. The yeast strain Saccharomyces Boulardii is a natural antagonist of bacteria and can help to restore the natural balance of the intestinal microbiome.

What is the composition of BiOMii DF Restore®?

BiOMii DF Restore® contains the highly effective yeast guide strain Saccharomyces Boulardii with a high content of colony-forming units (CFU). Colony-forming units are individual microorganisms capable of reproduction that contribute to the formation of new colonies in the intestine.

What is the gut microbiome?

Our gut is naturally populated by billions of microorganisms such as bacteria and yeasts, the so-called gut symbionts. This community is known as the gut flora or gut microbiome. Around 99% of human symbionts are found in the gut. The gut microbiome therefore plays the most important role and should always be in balance. Various factors, such as changes in dietary habits, stress, environmental influences, harmful pathogens or the use of antibiotics can severely disrupt the balance of the gut microbiome.

Application

• BiOMii DF Restore® can be taken 1 - 2 x daily if required or while travelling. Ideally, it should be taken in the morning or evening on an empty stomach, or during the day approx. 2 hours after a meal or 30 minutes before a meal.
• Adults & adolescents from 12 years: Melt 1 powder stick in the mouth twice daily or dissolve in ⅛ litre of liquid and drink.
• Children from 4 - 11 years: dissolve 1 powder stick in the mouth once a day or dissolve in ⅛ litre of liquid and drink.
• Infants from 1 - 3 years: Dissolve 1 powder stick in ⅛ litre of liquid once a day and drink.
• Notes: If required, the powder can be mixed with food below 40 °C (e.g. porridge, yoghurt). Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. There are no interactions with antibiotics, simultaneous intake is also possible without a time gap.
