What is BiOMii DF Restore®?

• BiOMii DF Restore® is a dietary supplement containing the highly effective yeast strain Saccharomyces boulardii. This specific yeast strain colonises the gut microbiome within a few hours and inhibits or displaces other harmful pathogens. The natural gut flora is restored or maintained.
• BiOMii DF Restore® is highly concentrated and contains 250 mg of dried yeast per capsule, with a very high number of colony-forming units. At a daily dose of 2 capsules, this corresponds to at least 10 billion viable yeast cells.
• BiOMii DF Restore® is based on a scientifically sound formulation that not only protects the sensitive yeast strain, but also ensures that it reaches the gut microbiome in high numbers, exactly where it is needed.

BiOMii DF Restore® contains the highly effective yeast strain Saccharomyces Boulardii with a high content of colony-forming units (CFU). Colony-forming units are individual, reproducible microorganisms that help to form new colonies in the gut.

What is the gut microbiome?

Our gut is naturally populated by trillions of microorganisms such as bacteria and yeasts, known as gut symbionts. This community is known as the gut flora or the gut microbiome. Around 99 per cent of human symbionts are found in the gut. The gut microbiome therefore plays the most important role and should always be in balance. Various factors, such as changes in dietary habits, stress, environmental influences, harmful pathogens or the use of antibiotics, can significantly disrupt the balance of the gut microbiome

Directions for use

• BiOMii DF Restore® can be taken as and when required or whilst travelling 1–2 times a day. Ideally, it should be taken in the morning or evening on an empty stomach, or during the day approximately 2 hours after a meal or 30 minutes before a meal.
• Adults & adolescents aged 12 and over: Take 1 capsule twice daily. Children
• Children aged 4–11 years: Take 1 capsule once a day.
• Toddlers aged 1–3 years: Open 1 capsule once a day and take it with a little liquid.
• Notes: If necessary, or for young children aged 1–3 years, the capsule may be opened and the contents mixed with a little liquid or food at a temperature below 40 °C (e.g. porridge, yoghurt) before taking. Suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. There are no interactions with antibiotics; they may be taken at the same time without any time interval.
