Bepanthen® Intense Eye Drops are a medical device for the symptomatic treatment and intensive care of very dry and chronically dry, irritated eyes, containing sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol, lipids, vitamin A and vitamin E.

Bepanthen® Intense Eye Drops provide long-lasting relief, moisturisation and intensive care for very dry and chronically dry, irritated eyes through: 

  • Regeneration of the tear film through lipid technology
  • Formation of an even, stable and particularly long-lasting protective film
  • Moisturisation and relief through hyaluronic acid and dexpanthenol
  • Protection against harmful environmental factors (e.g. UV light) through vitamins A and E
Indications

  • Very dry and chronically dry eyes
  • Severe discomfort (symptoms are significantly more pronounced, several symptoms occur simultaneously and are treated with frequent instillation)
Active ingredients

Phospholipids

  • Regeneration of the lipid layer of the tear film through lipid shield technology
  • Prevention of excessive evaporation
Hyaluronic acid + dexpanthenol

  • Moisturising through high water-binding capacity
  • Support the regeneration of the cornea
  • Noticeably relieve the symptoms of dry eyes
Vitamins A & E 

  • Protection against harmful environmental factors (e.g. UV light)
  • Antioxidant properties – combat free radicals (oxidative stress)

  • Milky-white, sterile emulsion (does not impair vision, leaves no streaks on the eyes)
  • Suitable for use with all types of contact lenses

Dry eyes

Dry eye (sicca syndrome) is a multifactorial condition affecting the ocular surface.

It is one of the most common eye conditions, becomes more prevalent with age and is more common in women. The cause of dry eyes can be reduced tear production and/or an abnormal composition of the tear film. If the lipid layer of the tear film is disrupted, it evaporates too quickly and the eye dries out (evaporative dry eye).

Multidose bottle

Directions for use
  • Apply one drop into the conjunctival sac of the eye up to 3 times a day; if necessary, up to 5 times a day. Well tolerated even with long-term use.
  • Notes: For external use only. Do not use after the expiry date.
Ingredients
Composition: Dexpanthenol, sodium hyaluronate, phospholipid, soya oil, vitamin E, vitamin A, oleic acid, glycerine, carbomer, citric acid, water for injections.
