The Capsicolle heat patch is applied directly to the skin in a matter of seconds and quickly generates deep-penetrating heat that relieves inflammation, tension and pain in muscles, joints and surrounding tissue. Active ingredients

• Capsaicin is one of the traditional ingredients used in Native American medicine and is also frequently used in modern medicine. It is often used to treat nerve pain and other conditions affecting the joints and muscles. Capsaicin works with the body to generate deep, healing warmth, whilst simultaneously interacting with the neurotransmitters in the skin to physically block pain, inflammation and muscle spasms. Capsaicin is also known to promote blood circulation, kill bacteria and speed up the metabolism. Concentration in the Capsicolle heat plaster: 2.89%.
• Menthol is a component of peppermint essential oil and is frequently used for its cooling and numbing (or pain-relieving) effects. When menthol is applied to the skin, it is absorbed by the neurotransmitters and interrupts pain signals in the brain by replacing them with sensations of heat and cold. Concentration in the Capsicolle heat patch: 7.8%.
• Camphor is extracted from the bark and wood of the camphor tree. It is used to treat pain, warts, cold sores, haemorrhoids, osteoarthritis and itching, to increase local blood circulation, and as a sedative. Camphor is an FDA-approved topical analgesic and anaesthetic for pain relief. Concentration in the Capsicolle heat patch: 9.6%.

Directions for use

The plaster is very sticky. Therefore, plan where and how you will apply it before removing the protective film, and ensure that the plaster does not crease or stick to itself.

• Wash the area with soap and water and then dry it thoroughly.
• Peel off half of the protective film on the back of the patch – leaving only half of the sticky side exposed prevents the patch from creasing and sticking to itself.
• Apply the plaster to the correct area and remove the other half of the film whilst gently pressing it down.
• You can enhance the plaster’s effectiveness when your skin’s pores open up due to physical activity or sweating.
• Remove the patch after 8 hours at the latest.
• Do not use more than 3 plasters per day for a maximum of 7 days.
• Be sure to read the ‘Important Information and Warnings’ section on this page before using the patch.
• Warnings: Do not use if you have any skin conditions, cuts or damage to the skin. Do not use on skin that cannot feel either heat or cold. Do not use if you are allergic to capsaicin or any other ingredients in the product. In rare cases, an allergic reaction may occur, causing skin irritation, itching or a rash. If this happens, stop using the patch immediately and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use 1 hour before or after bathing. Must not come into contact with mucous membranes, particularly the eyes. Wash your hands after using the patch. Do not use more than 3 patches per day for a maximum of 7 days. Do not use the heat patch whilst sleeping and do not apply excessive pressure to it. Do not apply the patch to people who are unable to remove it themselves. If the patch feels too hot, remove it. Do not use the heat patch if you cannot remove it easily. Our adhesive is hypoallergenic – similar to that of a standard plaster – but if you are allergic to adhesives, you should seek medical advice before use. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist before use. People suffering from an illness, taking medication or who are pregnant may be more susceptible to burns or reactions and should consult a doctor before use.
