Folic acid supports the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. Like vitamin B12, it contributes to cell division. Vitamin B12 and iodine contribute to normal energy metabolism, with vitamin B12 also supporting the normal formation of red blood cells. An increased supply of folic acid is recommended from the time of a planned pregnancy after discontinuation of the contraceptive until the end of breastfeeding. Please store Avitale Folic Acid Plus Tablets in a dry place as they are not moisture-resistant. Please also do not store above 25 °C. The product is vegan and has been awarded the V-Label. The V-Label is an internationally protected trademark of the European Vegetarian Union for labelling vegetarian and vegan foods. It is valid throughout Europe and guarantees that no animal ingredients are used in the product or during production.

• Swallow 1 tablet daily with a meal and sufficient liquid.
• Advice: Due to the iodine content, please consult your family doctor or gynaecologist before taking Avitale Folic Acid Plus Tablets if you suffer from a thyroid disorder or disease. The small pink dots visible on the tablets are the natural colour of vitamin B12.

• Ingredients: Bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, vitamin B12 (cobalamin), folic acid, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable) and silicon dioxide, potassium iodate (iodine).
