Cicalfate+ Scar Gel is indicated for newer scars* in adults. It can be applied to the face and body. Suitable for babies and children.

How to use

Massage instructions:

To determine the degree of maturity of the scar, press on the scar to determine the time it takes for its original colour to return. Normally this is 3 seconds on average. The shorter the time, the less mature the scar is.

If the original colour of the scar returns in less than a second (generally up to 1 month after formation): The scar is still immature. Apply the product by gently pressing on and around the scar. Use your index and middle finger to gently spread the product along the scar.
When the original colour of the scar returns in 1 to 2 seconds: Apply the "Palpate Roll Massage" by gently squeezing the skin along the scar between your thumb and index finger. Now pluck by pulling the skin upwards between your fingers. Carry out this step until the product is completely absorbed (about 5 minutes).
When the original colour of the scar returns after 3 or more seconds (generally 3 months after formation): The scar is ripe. Massage the scar by stretching it with your index and middle fingers, without overstretching it, until the product is fully absorbed (about 5 minutes).
