Apozema® Women's Secale cornutum complex No. 15 drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the treatment of menstrual cramps and premenstrual complaints.

Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses. APOZEMA Menstrual Disorders Secale cornutum complex No. 15 drops are a homeopathic combination remedy consisting of various individual homeopathic remedies whose medicinal pictures complement each other.

Indications

The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. The following indications are authorised for this medicine:

• Menstrual complaints, such as painful or irregular bleeding, as well as complaints that may occur before the onset of menstruation (premenstrual syndrome).

Properties of the ingredients

• The medicinal properties ofSecale cornutum (ergot) include uterine cramps, muscle spasms, haemorrhages and circulatory disorders. The main area of action is the female reproductive organs.
• Aurum colloidale (colloidal gold) is used to treat depressive moods and melancholy, often accompanied by high blood pressure.
• Colocynthis (coloquinte) acts on the female reproductive organs, the nervous system and the stomach and intestines. The remedy shows severe, cutting pains in the abdomen, which improve with rest and in a warm environment.
• Crocus (saffron) shows bleeding, a tendency to painful cramps and rapidly changing moods as well as irregular menstrual cycles with bleeding of varying intensity.
• Lilium tigrinum (tiger lily) is used in homeopathy for women's complaints such as inflammation and pain in the genitals, nervous heart complaints, irritable moods and accompanying symptoms of the menopause.
• Pulsatilla (pasqueflower) is used to treat inflammation and disorders of the female genital organs, vaginitis, menstrual disorders and urinary disorders. Pulsatilla is mainly used for cold-related cystitis in women and girls and menstrual problems. A feeling of fullness and burning in the bladder with worsening at rest and in warmth are some of the modalities.
• Viburnum opulus (common viburnum) is used to treat menstrual complaints.

Directions for use

• Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults: At the onset of symptoms 21 drops every half hour to hour max. 8 times daily, at the onset of improvement up to 4 times daily.
• Note: In individual cases, APOZEMA menstrual cramps Secale cornutum complex No. 15 drops can also be used in younger girls if the period occurs before the age of 12. In this case, however, the single dose should not exceed 7 drops.
• Route of administration: Oral use, spread on the surrounding oral mucosa with the tongue.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

D12 2.0 g and Viburnum opulus Dil. D4 2.0 g.
• The other ingredients are: ethanol 96% (alcohol), purified water.
• Total ethanol content approx. 43% by weight, 1 g = approx. 49 drops.
