- D-mannose is a pleasant-tasting simple sugar of natural origin. In contrast to glucose, however, it is hardly utilised by the body and therefore enters the urinary tract unchanged.
- Once in the bladder, D-mannose binds to the bacteria that are responsible for most urinary tract infections. This prevents them from adhering to the bladder mucosa and causing inflammation. The bacteria that float freely in the bladder and are bound to D-mannose can simply be flushed out with the urine.
- Although the fruits of the lingonberry are small, they contain a variety of valuable ingredients such as sodium, phosphorus and potassium. Their high vitamin C content is remarkable - up to 40 milligrams of the vitamin can be found in 100 grams of berries. They are also a rich source of secondary plant substances, especially proanthocyanidins (PACs for short).
Dosage form
How to use
- For therapy: 3 × 1 sachet daily (corresponding to 3 × 2 g mannose) for 5 days.
- For prevention: 3 × daily 1 sachet (corresponding to 3 × 2 g mannose) for 5 days per month.
- Sprinkle the contents of one sachet into a glass of cold or warm water, stir until completely dissolved and drink. The naturally cloudy preparation has a typical tart flavour.

- Ingredients: 1 sachet of 5g drinking granules contains: 2 g D-mannose, dried cranberry extract (Vaccinium vitis-idaea), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), magnesium hydrogen citrate, maltodextrin, stevia extract, calcium silicate.
- Nutritional values per daily dose (3 sachets): contains 6 g D-mannose, plus 4.5 g native cranberry extract, with a PAC content of 405 mg.
