D-mannose is a pleasant-tasting simple sugar of natural origin. In contrast to glucose, however, it is hardly utilised by the body and therefore enters the urinary tract unchanged. Once in the bladder, D-mannose binds to the bacteria that are responsible for most urinary tract infections. This prevents them from adhering to the bladder mucosa and causing inflammation. The bacteria floating freely in the bladder and bound to D-mannose can simply be flushed out with the urine.

Alpinamed® D-Mannose contains per tablet: 1,000 mg pure D-Mannose (obtained from glucose of vegetable origin), vegetable magnesium stearate as anti-caking agent. Vegan. GMO-free (produced without genetically modified organisms).
