Alpinamed® Cough Reliever Marshmallow Syrup, 150 ML

Alpinamed Cough Relief Marshmallow Syrup is a traditional herbal medicinal product for the symptomatic treatment of irritation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat and the associated irritating cough.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product which is registered exclusively on the basis of many years of use for the above-mentioned indications. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 3 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 10 ml 3 times a day.
• Children (6 - 11 years): 1.5 ml 4 times a day.
• Children (3 - 5 years): 1 ml 4 times a day.
• Use in children: Use in children under 3 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data.
• Route of administration: Oral use. Shake well before use. For exact dosing of Alpinamed Cough Relief Marshmallow Syrup, a measuring cup and a dosing syringe are included as dosing aids. After use, rinse the dosing aids with warm water and dry.
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• The active ingredient is: liquid extract of marshmallow root 1 ml (= 1.3 g) contains 0.97 ml marshmallow root syrup (Althaeae sirupus), prepared from 0.48 ml liquid extract (macerate) of marshmallow root (Althaeae radix, drug-extract ratio (DEV) 1:22; extractant: water).
• The other ingredients are: Sucrose, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate E 216, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate E 218, ethanol 96%, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallising) E 420, total ethanol content: approx. 7.24 mg.
