Allpresan® Foot Special No. 7 Nail Tincture is a complementary treatment to be used as part of a treatment programme for athlete’s foot, designed for skin prone to fungal infections, including athlete’s foot and nail fungus. A medical-grade skincare product containing avocado oil, panthenol and clotrimazole.

This tincture protects and strengthens the nails and helps to reduce the risk of re-infection.The nail tincture contains a special formula with avocado oil, panthenol and clotrimazole, which strengthens and nourishes the nails and protects them from microbial and physiological damage. It alters the environment around the nail so that it becomes unfavourable for nail fungus.

Active ingredients

• Clotrimazole: Clotrimazole has been used successfully as an antifungal agent for many years. During the fungus’s growth phase, clotrimazole attacks its cell membrane, causing it to become permeable. As a result, the fungus loses its ability to reproduce and eventually dies.
• Avocado oil: Avocado oil is characterised by its high content of phytosterols, phospholipids and vitamins A, E and D. Phytosterols help to support the skin’s barrier function; the high content of palmitoleic acid ensures good skin tolerance, and the oil is readily absorbed by the skin due to its spreading properties. Avocado oil nourishes the skin and protects against dehydration.
• Panthenol: Dexpanthenol (INCI: PANTHENOL) is a precursor to a B vitamin and is also known as provitamin B5. Panthenol has a soothing, nourishing and moisturising effect on the skin and supports the wound-healing process. It is frequently used for the treatment of the skin and mucous membranes, as well as for the treatment of superficial wounds.

Directions for use

Ideally, Allpresan Foot Special No. 7 Nail Tincture should be applied to nails susceptible to fungal infection twice daily (morning and evening) or as required to provide optimal care. The product is for external use only. Please shake the bottle well before use and hold it upright when dispensing.
