Allegra® 120 mg film-coated tablets are an over-the-counter medicine containing the active ingredient - fexofenadine hydrochloride, for the relief of allergy symptoms such as hay fever, sneezing, runny nose and itchy eyes.
Allegra contains fexofenadine hydrochloride; an antihistamine that does not cause drowsiness.
Allegra 120 mg is used in adults and children from the age of 12 to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever). These symptoms include sneezing, an itchy, runny or blocked nose and itchy, red and watery eyes.

Adults and children from the age of 12: The recommended dose is 1 tablet (120 mg) daily. Take your tablet with water before a meal. This medicine starts to relieve your symptoms within one hour and the duration of action is 24 hours.
Ingredients
- The active substance is: fexofenadine hydrochloride. Each film-coated tablet contains 120 mg fexofenadine hydrochloride.
- The other ingredients are Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate. Film coating: hypromellose, polyvidone, titanium dioxide (E 171), highly dispersed silicon dioxide, macrogol and iron oxide (E 172).
