Actimove® Professional Line Rhizo Forte Thumb Orthosis - Black, Left - Size Medium, 1 ST

Actimove® Rhizo Forte is an immobilising thumb orthosis for the treatment of painful conditions and irritations in the saddle and metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb associated with chronic and acute complaints.

The orthosis immobilises the thumb saddle joint (CMC) and the metacarpophalangeal joint (MCP 1) and positions the thumb in a functional position. The special design of the orthosis effectively prevents adduction of the thumb while allowing full freedom of movement of the other four fingers and the wrist.

Thanks to the mouldable aluminium core, Actimove® Rhizo Forte can be easily adapted to the individual hand shape. The orthosis can be put on easily with just one hand using the practical Velcro fasteners. Specially selected materials and the slim design with soft edges offer a high level of comfort. The orthosis is dirt-repellent, can be worn in water and dries easily. It is therefore also suitable for longer periods of everyday wear.

• Irritation and wear in the thumb saddle and metacarpophalangeal joint (e.g. rhizarthrosis)
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ulnar collateral ligament injury of the MCP1 joint (e.g. ski thumb)
• Distortion (sprain)
• Ligament instability
• Postoperative use and post-traumatic irritation
• Postoperative immobilisation

Application

• Duration of use: several weeks.
• The product is washable at 30° C.
