Used regularly and as early as possible, Alopexy 50 mg/ml inhibits the progression of congenital hair loss in men. The proven medical active ingredient minoxidil has a targeted effect on the hair follicle, ensures an improved nutrient supply and stimulates hair growth. The hair becomes thicker and stronger again.

This medicine is recommended for certain, moderately severe cases of androgenetic alopecia (excessive hair loss) in men.

This medicine is not recommended for use in women due to the frequent occurrence of abnormal hair growth (hypertrichosis).

How to use

Alopexy 50 mg/ml is applied directly to dry skin in the morning and evening. Two practical dosing aids are available for this purpose - a pipette and a dosing pump with applicator - which enable simple and uncomplicated application. Start in the centre and spread the solution over the entire surface with your fingertips. Alopexy 50 mg/ml should already be dry before you lie down or put on a head covering so that the solution can work on the scalp. After the solution has dried, the hair can be styled as usual. Alopexy 50 mg/ml should only be applied to a healthy scalp. Do not apply Alopexy 50 mg/ml to the scalp at the same time as other skin preparations.

Indications: Moderate androgenetic alopecia (excessive hair loss) in men Contraindications: Known hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the other ingredients. Scalp disorders. Poor tolerance of the 2 mg/ml solution, regardless of the symptoms. Efficacy and safety have not been studied in persons younger than 18 years or older than 65 years. Alopexy® 50mg/ml should not be used by women, as abnormal hair growth (hypertrichosis) is often to be expected. Contains propylene glycol.
