When used regularly and as early as possible, Alopexy 50 mg/ml inhibits the progression of hereditary male pattern hair loss. The proven active ingredient, minoxidil, acts specifically on the hair follicles, ensuring an improved supply of nutrients and stimulating hair growth. The hair becomes thicker and stronger again.

This medicine is recommended for certain moderate cases of so-called androgenetic alopecia (excessive hair loss) in men.

This medicine is not recommended for use in women due to the frequent occurrence of abnormal hair growth (hypertrichosis).

Directions for use

Alopexy 50 mg/ml is applied directly to dry skin in the morning and evening. Two practical dosing aids are available for this purpose – a pipette and a dosing pump with an applicator – which make application simple and straightforward. Start in the centre and spread the solution over the entire area using your fingertips. There is no need to massage it in. Alopexy 50 mg/ml should be completely dry before you lie down or put on a head covering, so that the solution can take effect on the scalp. Once the solution has dried, the hair can be styled as usual. Alopexy 50 mg/ml should only be used on a healthy scalp. Do not use Alopexy 50 mg/ml on the scalp at the same time as other topical preparations.

Indications: Moderate androgenetic alopecia (excessive hair loss) in men Contraindications: Known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients. Scalp disorders. Poor tolerance of the 2 mg/ml solution, regardless of symptoms. Efficacy and safety have not been investigated in people under 18 or over 65 years of age.
