Algisite M is a calcium alginate wound dressing that forms a soft, structurally stable gel after absorbing wound exudate and thus supports moist wound healing. Algisite M does not stick to the wound and its high fibre stability ensures that the dressing can be removed with little pain. The excellent adaptability to all wound contours offers a high level of comfort. A dressing retention time of up to seven days helps you to provide economical care.

Algisite M adapts perfectly to all wound contours. The dressing can absorb up to 10 times its own weight in fluid. Thanks to the structurally stable fibre bond, Algisite M can be removed from the wound in one piece. Algisite M also minimises damage to the newly formed tissue when the dressing is removed.
