Dosage form
Usage
- Clean the skin and dry it thoroughly.
- Apply 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection evenly to the desired area, holding the spray 10 to 15 cm away from the skin.
- Leave to dry for 30 to 60 seconds, keeping skin folds apart until completely dry.
- Apply a maximum of 2 layers of 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection on top of each other.
- Do not use in conjunction with creams, lotions or moisturising cleansers.
- Reapply 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection only every 2–3 days, or under adhesive dressings at each dressing change.
- Adhesive materials (e.g. base plates) adhere excellently to 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection.
- 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection does not interfere with either absorbent or drainage incontinence aids.
- 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection does not need to be removed, as it dissolves without leaving any residue after approximately 72 hours due to the body’s natural skin oils.
- 3M Cavilon Non-Irritating Skin Protection can also be removed using oily substances or most medical adhesive removers.
