Sprouted whole lentils from certified organic farming
Plate lentils are an excellent source of protein and therefore a real source of energy. Their flavour is mildly nutty and earthy. Compared to other types of lentil, it retains its firm structure and slightly crunchy consistency when cooked. The sprouting process activates the valuable nutrients contained in the lentil. This multiplies the amount of vital substances and transforms them into an easily absorbed form.

Use
Plate lentils are particularly suitable for stews, lentil spreads or lentil patties. Sprouting means that the lentils are already well broken down and no longer need to be soaked before cooking. We recommend a cooking time of only approx. 20 minutes for the perfect consistency.
