tvm Ocryl® eye cleaner solution for animals, 135 ML

The tvm Ocryl® eye cleaner solution is an eye hygiene product for animals for cleaning the eyes and removing tear ducts in dogs, cats, horses, pets and exotic animals.

Areas of application

• Physiological cleaning solution for daily use on the eye
• For natural cleaning of the eyes, eyelids and the area around the eyes
  
• For removing deposits, secretions, dust and foreign bodies from the eye as well as tear ducts and crusts. Organic deposits and crusts can serve as a breeding ground for pathogens
• Preparation of the periorbital area before applying eye drops or ointments
  
• For discolouration of the hair in the corner of the eye
• Mildly antiseptic

Active ingredients

• Benzalkonium chloride - disinfects the cornea
• Methylene blue - dissolves discolouration caused by porphyrins in the tear fluid of animals - mildly antiseptic
• Boric acid and sodium borate - antiseptic and astringent
• Rose extract - soothing

Application

• Removal of tear ducts: - Apply Ocryl® with a compress or a well-soaked cotton pad 1-2 times a day and cleanse until the discolouration subsides, then 1-2 times a week.
• Eye cleansing: apply a few drops directly into the eye without touching the cornea. Carefully remove excess liquid from around the eye with a compress or cotton pad.

Ingredients

Composition: benzalkonium chloride 7mg, methylene blue 0.1mg, rose extract 2.3 µg, buffered excipient* per 100 ml (* contains boric acid and sodium borate).
