Stress, fatty foods, hot spices, coffee or alcohol stimulate the production of gastric juice. This results in excess acid in the stomach. This results in typical symptoms such as heartburn up to the throat, acid regurgitation and a feeling of pressure in the stomach. General well-being is impaired.

The tetesept chewable tablets have a noticeably fast and effective effect on heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints. They are sugar-free and well tolerated. With fresh peppermint.

The high-dose, medicinal active ingredients magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate are released as soon as they are chewed. This means that they are immediately available in the stomach and can take effect straight away. The excess acid in the stomach is bound and neutralised within a few minutes. The symptoms subside quickly and reliably.

Directions for use

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over should take 1-2 chewable tablets as a single dose as required.
If necessary, 1-2 chewable tablets can be taken up to 4 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 8 chewable tablets.

How and when should you take tetesept Heartburn Acute Chewable Tablets?

tetesept Heartburn Acute Chewable Tablets are preferably taken one hour after meals, if necessary also before going to bed or in between meals. The chewable tablet can be sucked or chewed.
Chewable tablet (with fresh mint flavour) to bind excess stomach acid (antacid) for heartburn, acid regurgitation and acid-related stomach complaints.

Notes: tetesept Heartburn Acute Chewable Tablets can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding according to the recommended dosage. Do not take for longer than 30 days. Do not use in children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Store in a dry place and not above 25°C.

Ingredients

1 chewable tablet contains: 500mg calcium carbonate, 250mg magnesium oxide; other ingredients: sorbitol, maize starch, peppermint oil, magnesium stearate.

Note: Contains sorbitol and peppermint oil.

Note for diabetics: 1 chewable tablet contains 0.84mg sorbitol, corresponding to approx. 0.07 bread units (BE)
