- Omega-3 fatty acids: The polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are essential nutrients for our body. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation in painful joint complaints, reduce swelling and promote joint mobility.
- The human organism can only produce minimal amounts of the important omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA itself and is therefore dependent on dietary intake. EPA and DHA are found in large quantities almost exclusively in fatty cold-water fish (herring, mackerel, salmon).
- An optimal supply of EPA and DHA is particularly important for people with rheumatic diseases. In the case of inflammatory rheumatic complaints, the increased requirement cannot be adequately covered by a normal diet (fish meals).

Directions
- Take 1 capsule 2-3 times a day unchewed before meals with sufficient liquid. Continuous intake of rheumed® is recommended. Due to the special capsule coating, the valuable omega-3 fatty acids are only released in the small intestine. This improves availability and prevents the unpleasant burping with fishy odour typical of omega-3 fatty acids.
- Note: rheumed® is not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition. Use only under medical supervision. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
