- Omega-3 fatty acids: The polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are essential nutrients for our bodies. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce the tendency towards inflammation in cases of painful joint complaints, minimise swelling and promote joint mobility.
- The human body can only produce minimal amounts of the essential omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA itself and is therefore reliant on obtaining them from food. EPA and DHA are found in significant quantities almost exclusively in high-fat cold-water fish (herring, mackerel, salmon).
- An optimal intake of EPA and DHA is particularly important for people with rheumatic conditions. In cases of inflammatory rheumatic conditions, the increased requirement cannot be adequately met by a normal diet (fish meals) .

Directions for use
- Take 1 capsule 2–3 times a day, whole, before meals with plenty of liquid. Continuous use of rheumed® is recommended. Thanks to the special capsule coating, the valuable omega-3 fatty acids are only released in the small intestine. This improves bioavailability and prevents the unpleasant fishy-smelling burps typically associated with omega-3 fatty acids.
