Innovative combination of sodium selenite and selenomethionine
Selenium Complex combines selenomethionine (organically bound selenium) and sodium selenite (inorganic selenium), two forms of selenium that complement each other perfectly thanks to their balanced ratio.
Selenomethionine is a natural component of food and with a half-life more than twice as long as that of sodium selenite, selenomethionine remains available to the organism for longer. Sodium selenite is absorbed more quickly and thus represents the acutely bioavailable form of selenium.
The trace element selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and the maintenance of normal immune function. Selenium also supports the maintenance of healthy hair and contributes to normal spermatogenesis.
