The pure encapsulations® AntiOxidant Formula capsules are a dietary supplement with antioxidant nutrients such as zinc and vitamin C to maintain a balanced state between oxidants and antioxidants.

The AntiOxidant Formula from Pure Encapsulations© helps to protect your body from oxidative stress. In addition, antioxidants can provide extra support for your immune system or help maintain healthy skin. Vitamins C and E and the trace element zinc in the AntiOxidant formula have an antioxidant effect and can therefore protect you from oxidative stress. The milk thistle extract also supports normal liver and bile function.

Milk thistle capsules to protect against oxidative stress

To protect against oxidative stress, the capsules contain the trace elements zinc and selenium as well as vitamin C. The capsules also contain an extract from milk thistle and several carotenoids. But how do antioxidants protect your body from oxidative stress? Their chemical compound makes them so-called radical scavengers. This means that they protect your cells by preventing free radicals from gaining the upper hand in your body (known as "oxidative stress"). Free radicals are not only produced by various everyday metabolic processes, but also by external factors such as smoking, stress or increased exposure to UV radiation from the sun. Antioxidants help you to restore the natural balance in your body and your skin so that your organism is not burdened by an excess of free radicals.
