Application

If necessary, the octenisan® wash cap including packaging can be heated to body temperature in the microwave (maximum 20 seconds at 600 watts). Carefully open the heated octenisan® wash cap. When heating in the microwave, the temperature of the octenisan® wash cap must be checked before use on the patient. The octenisan® wash cap can be used on the patient without any other additives. However, the hair should be dry and untreated (no previous use of hair gel, setting agent, hairspray, etc.). The cap must be placed on the head so that all hair is covered. Thoroughly massage in the solution contained in the octenisan® wash cap and leave on for at least 5 minutes to ensure complete wetting of the hair and scalp. During and between applications, combing of the hair should be kept to a necessary minimum. If necessary, the hair can be rinsed with water or dried with a hair dryer after using octenisan® Wash Cap. After rinsing thoroughly with water, other shampoos and hair care products can also be used again. Safety instructions Do not use octenisan® Wash Cap if you have any known allergies or suspected allergies to any of the ingredients it contains. Do not use octenisan® Wash Cap in combination with anionic surfactants, as these can impair the cleansing function. Do not use in combination with PVP iodine products. Do not mix octenisan® Wash Cap with other soaps, ointments, oils, enzymes or similar. Only use for a limited period of time. When using, ensure that the solution contained does not run into the eyes. In the event of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
