Directions for use
- Remove the protective film from the pen needle.
- Place the pen straight onto the safety pen needle.
- Screw the pen needle onto the pen by turning it clockwise as far as it will go.
- Remove the cap.
- Check that the pen is ready to inject and set the correct dose.
- Inject the insulin with or without creating a skin fold, vertically into the skin.
- Hold the injection for at least 10 seconds before withdrawing the needle. Count slowly to 10.
- Remove the safety pen needle by pulling it straight out of the injection site .
- Remove the needle by unscrewing it anti-clockwise.
- Dispose of the safety pen needle in a container for sharp and pointed objects.
