The my Control® Protection Insect Repellent Spray provides up to 8 hours’ protection against mosquito and tick bites. The spray therefore helps to prevent diseases such as Zika virus, Lyme disease and TBE.
my Control® features a highly effective formulation containing 20% of the active ingredient IR3535®. This active ingredient is inspired by the naturally occurring amino acid ß-alanine and is therefore characterised by excellent skin and environmental compatibility. Aloe vera provides additional skincare benefits.
Furthermore, IR3535® is not only gentle on our skin but also on the natural environment, as it is harmless to aquatic organisms such as algae and fish and does not accumulate in the environment.
The my Control® Protection Insect Repellent Spray is DEET-free and can also be used to protect children aged twelve months and over, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women. This handy spray is the ideal addition to any first-aid kit.

Directions for use
- Apply the product evenly to exposed areas of skin and rub the sprayed liquid into the skin with your hand. Use ONLY on uncovered parts of the body and only on the arms, hands, legs, feet and face. Do not spray directly onto the face. To treat the face, spray the insect repellent onto the palm of your hand and spread the solution over the skin of the face. Take care to protect the eyes. Do not spray directly into the eyes and do not apply to the eye area. For children under the age of eleven, the product should be applied by an adult. Do not use on children’s hands. Do not apply to cuts or other wounds, freshly shaved skin or irritated skin. Do not use under clothing. For external use only. The repellent must be reapplied in the event of heavy sweating and after swimming. Reapply only when the protective effect has noticeably diminished and no later than eight hours after the first application. When reapplying, observe the maximum permitted number of applications per day: three applications for adults, two applications for children over two years of age, and one application per day for children between one and two years of age. The product is suitable for children over one year of age. Caution is advised when using these products on children. Use the products responsibly. Mechanical protective measures (clothing, mosquito nets) should always take precedence. Avoid contact with synthetic materials. Synthetic materials should be protected when spraying. Applying sun protection products or cosmetic formulations after using the repellent significantly reduces the repellent’s effectiveness. The product is not intended for use on animals/pets. Use sparingly and apply evenly to exposed areas of the body (face, hands, arms, legs and feet). Dosage per application: Adults: 3 g or approx. 26 sprays; children: 1.6 g or approx. 14 sprays; infants: 0.83 g or approx. 7 sprays. The product is intended for use in summer when there are large numbers of insects. It is normally applied once a day, depending on the outdoor activities you undertake, the weather conditions and the number of insects present. Application may be repeated if necessary (if the protective effect is noticeably reduced) and where permitted (see instructions on the label). The pump spray can be used up to three times a day for adults, up to twice a day for children over two years of age, and once a day for children between one and two years of age. The product is only suitable for children over one year of age.
- Notes: Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. The product should not be stored at temperatures above 40 °C for prolonged periods.
- Warnings: Use biocides with care. Always read the label and product information before use. If inhaled: If large quantities are inhaled, move the person to fresh air, keep them warm and ensure they remain calm. After eye contact: Rinse gently with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical advice/attention. After skin contact: Rinse contaminated skin with plenty of water. Remove soiled clothing and shoes. Seek medical advice if symptoms occur. After ingestion: If small quantities are swallowed (no more than a mouthful), rinse mouth with water and consult a doctor. Keep the person calm. Do not induce vomiting. Consult a doctor and show them the label. If swallowed, notify a doctor so that they can assess whether observation and inpatient follow-up treatment are necessary. Show them the label.
