Melatonin

One spray contains the natural human sleep hormone in a physiologically valuable dosage of 1 mg.

Helps to alleviate the subjective sensation of jet lag
Helps to shorten the time it takes to fall asleep

Ashwagandha

The evergreen plant, which is also known as the "sleeping berry", contains withanolides (secondary plant substances). 0.17 mg of withanolides are contained in each spray. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen because it can increase the body's resistance to stress factors. The term adaptogen describes substances that are said to have a supportive effect on concentration problems, fatigue, nervous restlessness, stress, sleep disorders or stress-related sleep disorders. Ashwaganda has been known in Asia for thousands of years, is widely used and has also found its way to Europe. Its effectiveness has now been proven by well-founded clinical studies.

Lavender oil

Each spray contains 27μg of high-quality lavender oil (L. angustifolia). The essential oil is a traditional natural remedy that is used for mild cases of mental stress and exhaustion and as a sleep aid. Lavender supports the other two ingredients in melamed® sleep spray, especially as a sleep aid.

How to use

1-2 sprays in the evening before going to sleep. One spray contains 1 mg melatonin, 0.17 mg withanolides (from Ashwaganda) and 27 μg lavender oil. 2 sprays contain 2 mg melatonin, 0.34 mg withanolides and 54 μg lavender oil. Suitable for adults aged 18 and over. Due to its sleep-promoting and calming effect, melamed ® Sleep Spray should ideally be used at least half an hour before going to bed.
Contraindications/ Warnings and precautions: Do not use together with alcohol or centrally depressant drugs. Do not use during chemotherapy, neurodermatitis or hormone therapy. Do not use if you are intolerant to any of the ingredients. melamed® Sleep Spray may affect your ability to drive. Do not drive a car or operate heavy machinery. Not suitable for children and adolescents. If you are already taking medication, it should be clarified beforehand whether there could be any interactions with melamed® Schlaf-Spray. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking it and also if it does not have the desired effect.
Information on pregnancy and breastfeeding: If you wish to have children, are already pregnant or are breastfeeding, it is not recommended to take melamed® Sleep Spray due to the possible hormonal effects of ashwagandha. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Note for diabetics: Suitable for diabetics.
