medi-tape is a kinesiological tape made from a high-quality cotton fabric with an elasticity of approx. 150%. Medi-Tape has been very successful in sports as well as for a wide range of medical conditions.

It has a particularly skin-friendly acrylic coating (acrylic resin), which is applied to the kinesiological tape bandage in a wavy pattern and is therefore very comfortable to wear.

Thanks to this first-class material, Medi-Tape® kinesiology tape offers long-lasting elasticity and always returns to its original position during its wearing time. The adhesive strength of Medi-Tape® kinesiology tape is activated and strengthened by the body temperature, thus achieving a high adhesive property.

The Medi-Tape® kinesiological tape bandage is completely latex-free and contains no active ingredients (medicines), so it can also be used on babies and pregnant women without hesitation. Medi-Tape® can be worn for several days. Medi-Tape® kinesiological tape is particularly breathable and waterproof, so it does not need to be changed after showering or bathing.

Application

To ensure optimum contact between the skin and the tape, the skin should be as free of grease as possible. We therefore ask you to refrain from applying cream to the affected area of the body before applying Medi-Tape®. In some cases, it may be necessary to shave the affected area if the body is very hairy. Please also note that Medi-Tape® or the applied acrylic adhesive is heat-active and requires a certain amount of time after application by your doctor or therapist to be activated by body heat. We therefore recommend that you do not expose the tape to excessive mechanical stress or bring it into contact with water for at least 30 minutes after application.
