Medi-Tape is a kinesiology tape made from high-quality cotton fabric with an elasticity of approximately 150 per cent. Medi-Tape has proved highly effective both in sport and for a wide variety of medical conditions.

It features a particularly skin-friendly acrylic coating (acrylic resin), which is applied in a wave-like pattern to the kinesiology tape, thus ensuring a high level of comfort when worn. 

Thanks to this first-class material, Medi-Tape® kinesiology tape offers long-lasting elasticity and always returns to its original adhesive state whilst being worn. The adhesive strength of Medi-Tape® kinesiology tape is activated and enhanced by body temperature, enabling it to achieve a high level of adhesion. 

Medi-Tape® kinesiology tape is completely latex-free and contains no active ingredients (medicines), meaning it can be used safely on infants and pregnant women. Medi-Tape® can be worn for several days. Medi-Tape® kinesiology tape is particularly breathable and waterproof, so it does not need to be changed after showering or bathing.

Directions for use 

To ensure optimal contact between the skin and the tape, the skin should be as free from oil as possible. We therefore ask that you refrain from applying cream to the affected area before using Medi-Tape®. In the case of heavily hairy areas of the body, it may be necessary in some instances to shave the affected area. Please also note that Medi-Tape® and the applied acrylic adhesive are heat-activated and require a certain amount of time after application by your doctor or therapist to be activated by body heat. We therefore recommend that you do not subject the tape to excessive mechanical stress for at least 30 minutes after application, and that you do not allow the tape to come into contact with water during this period.
