isla® Pastilles Mint are lozenges with Icelandic moss extract to soothe coughs and hoarseness. Isla Mint - The fresh flavour, sugar-free.

Our voice is a sensitive organ. The vocal chords are quickly affected by heavy or incorrect strain, dry air, e.g. in air-conditioned or heated rooms. The active ingredients from Icelandic moss, which are concentrated in Isla pastilles, dissolve when sucked and cover the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx like a protective layer.

This protects them from further attacks and allows them to recover more quickly. Isla pastilles soothe irritated coughs and hoarseness, care for and protect the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx and have a preventive effect in the event of severe strain on the vocal cords.

When is isla® mint used?

The ingredients of isla® mint act like a balm on the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx. The irritated mucous membrane is thus protected from further attacks and can recover more quickly thanks to the soothing effect, especially in the case of throat complaints caused by:

• Coughing and hoarseness
• Severe strain on the vocal cords (singers, speakers)
• Dry breathing air (heated or air-conditioned)
• Dry mouth
• Restricted nasal breathing.

How to use

• Adults and children aged 4 years and over should suck 1-2 lozenges several times a day as required. Care should be taken to ensure that children have already acquired the ability to suck in a controlled manner.
• Notes: If necessary, isla® mint can also be used over a longer period of time. If there is no improvement after 10 days of treatment, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Very rarely, a laxative effect may occur when using the preparation due to the sorbitol content. Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in isolated cases.
• Note for diabetics: 1 lozenge contains 392 mg sorbitol (sugar substitute) = 0.031 BE.

Ingredients

• 1 lozenge contains 80 mg aqueous extract of Iceland moss (0.4 - 0.8 : 1).
• Other ingredients: Arabic gum, sorbitol, low-viscosity paraffin, aspartame, chlorophyll-copper complex (colour E 141), peppermint oil, purified water.
• 1 lozenge contains 392 mg sorbitol (sugar substitute) = 0.031 BE.
