ipalat® Hydro Med acute lozenges quickly and reliably relieve irritated coughs, hoarseness and sore throats. The innovative hydro effect forms a protective film on the irritated mucous membrane and provides immediate relief.

ipalat® Hydro Med acute lozenges contain the active ingredients gum arabic, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hyaluronic acid and carrageenan. Slowly sucking or lightly chewing ipalat® Hydro Med akut intensively stimulates the flow of saliva. The active ingredients contained in the lozenge bind moisture and change the flow properties of the saliva. The resulting gel-like complex forms a protective film on the mucous membranes in the oral cavity and throat (hydro effect) and moisturises them efficiently. At the same time, these areas are protected from further irritating influences and can calm down again. Complaints such as sore throat, hoarseness, coughing and dry mouth are thus alleviated. The pastilles also contain natural flavourings, i.e. plant extracts from primrose root, star anise and fennel, which additionally stimulate salivation.

• painful symptoms of inflammation of the mouth and throat, such as swelling, redness, sore throat, difficulty swallowing,

• and to protect the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat from other irritating influences.

How to use

• Depending on requirements, adults and children from 6 years of age can use one ipalat® Hydro Med acute lozenge several times a day, e.g. every 2-3 hours. Up to 6 lozenges can be used daily. It is advisable to suck the lozenges slowly or chew them lightly between meals in order to achieve the optimum effect of the lozenge.
• Method and duration of use: ipalat® Hydro Med acute lozenges should be sucked or lightly chewed until completely dissolved so that the hydro effect can unfold efficiently. The lozenges should not be swallowed whole.
• Note: ipalat® Hydro Med acute lozenges contain sucralose and the sugar substitute maltitol. Please only use the lozenges after consulting your doctor if you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars. One lozenge contains 0.07 bread units (BE).
