The active ingredient xylometazoline in hysan® cold spray (for adults and schoolchildren) ensures rapid and reliable decongestion of the nasal mucosa. Free breathing is possible again after just a few minutes. Space is created for the viscous mucus to drain away. This prevents bacterial infection and can often avoid the need for antibiotic treatment.

Directions for use

hysan® cold spray is intended for nasal use. 1. remove the cap before each use. 2. press the pump until the solution comes out (usually 1-2 times). The system is then ready for use for each further application. 3. insert the spray opening into the nostril and pump once, inhaling gently. Spray 1 puff into each nostril up to 3 times a day as required. For hygienic reasons, please wipe off the nasal adapter after each use and close it with the protective cap. Apply one spray into each nostril 2 to 3 times a day as required. Do not use more than 3 times a day. Duration of use: The duration of use should not exceed 5-7 days. Reapplication should only take place after a break of several days. The doctor should always be consulted about the duration of use in children aged 6 years and over, whereby hysan® cold spray must not be used in children under 6 years of age.
